A payback model you can argue with.

Put in a rejected consignment and the hours your team spends reading gauges. The fee is the same draft Watch price as the pricing page. Change the sliders until the story matches your plant, not ours.

Payback, in your numbers

Nothing is uploaded. The arithmetic runs in this browser. The software fee is the draftWatch price, KES 5,000 per point.

A belief, not a measured rate. Move it until it matches your own judgement.

Hardware has no list price yet. This is your number, for the payback line only.

Fee used: KES 5,000 × points. Weeks in a month counted as 4.3.

How this is calculated

Monthly exposure = (consignments per quarter × value) ÷ 3. Modelled spoilage benefit = exposure × the share you set. Labour benefit = hours per week × 4.3 × hourly cost × the share of hours you could drop. Benefit is those two added. Fee = points × the draft Watch price per point. Net = benefit − fee. If net is positive, hardware months = hardware budget ÷ net. If it is not, there is no payback inside this model.

This ignores audits you pass, energy, and anything the fee does not buy yet. It is a conversation tool. It is not a forecast and not a quotation.

Before the demo

  • A sketch or photo of the rooms, using the names your shift already uses.
  • The band for each room, for example 0–4°C, and who is allowed to change it.
  • Where the network reaches those rooms, and where it does not. Buffering covers a dropped link. A battery across a power cut is a separate question.
  • The make of any PLC or meter you hope to read. The connector type exists. The brand is not confirmed until that unit has been read.
  • Who is on shift at 1am. Acknowledgement stores their name, and MFA is required for every user.
  • What one rejected or downgraded consignment costs you, roughly, in shillings.

Bring the room names and the bands you already run. We will put them on the floor and say which commercial details on this site are still drafts.
