Water

Level, flow, pressure and pumps, with a leak ticket as the action.

The plant

Level, flow and the duty pump. A silent pump is a ticket. Turbidity and chlorine stay on the analyser panel the works already runs. Industrial IoT does not pretend to replace that panel.

Factory dashboards

Each plant type has its own view. Open one.

Where a first line usually starts

  • A falling reservoir is a phone call from the town.
  • Pump hours are not tied to the volume pumped.
  • A burst is a wet road before it is a ticket.

Reservoir level

Level and a low-level alert before the supply fails.

Flow and pressure

District flow and pressure, so a night increase can be a leak.

Pumps

Run, current and vibration on the duty pump.

Water treatment

Works flow, the duty pump and the clearwell. Analyser chemistry stays on the panel the site already uses.

From the sensor to the action

  1. 01

    Sense

Level, flow, pressure, pump run, current and vibration.

  2. 02

    Connect

Modbus from the meter or a 4–20 mA loop through an input module. LTE where the pump house has no fibre.

  3. 03

    Platform

The series stays with that works. A reading from the simulator stays labelled.

  4. 04

    Insight

A falling level, a pump that is on without flow, or a night flow that should not be there.

  5. 05

    ERP action

A leak ticket or a maintenance work order in FactoraERP, commissioned with the implementation.
